Companies are told to improve their efficiency and to recycle, but these ideas are nothing new. What is really needed is a rethink of the entire economic system. On this premise Fernando Valladares, doctor of biology, research fellow at CSIC and associate lecturer at the Rey Juan Carlos university, gave a talk at the Donostia Sustainability Forum about the changes necessary to cope with climate change.</p>
